Planting a Foundation for Education
On April 11, 2012, the LFHS Foundation hosted its 2nd annual luncheon and silent auction, “Planting a Foundation for Education”. Thanks to strong support from the LFHS community, the event raised over $60,000 for the Foundation! Over 225 alumni, parents and community members arrived to the sounds of the Lake Forest High School Jazz Combo and enjoyed a large silent auction that included exciting donations from local merchants and businesses as well as coveted items from the high school such as front row seats for graduation and the prom red carpet. Many thanks go to Co-Chairs Diane Grumhaus and Barbara Weinberger and their committee for leading this successful effort. We look forward to continuing the tradition next spring!
