Mark Saran was elected Chair of the Lake Forest High School Foundation during the Foundation's annual meeting on September 21, 2005. Saran replaces Ron Bernardi, who has led the Foundation since its inception three years ago. Bernardi will remain a Trustee, chairing the Nominating Committee.
Tracy Hill was named Secretary, and retiring Trustee Anne McNulty was elected Trustee Emeritus. Re-elected officers are: Jerry Claeys, Treasurer; David Lee, Vice-Chair Development; and Allison Pasquesi, Vice-Chair, Grants. Marge Sorenson, who has served the Foundation in an administrative capacity was made a voting member of the Board, and Tom Lesko and Bill Vernon were added to the Board of Trustees.
"We started the Foundation just three years ago with the vision of enriching the educational experience at Lake Forest High School. Thanks to the wonderfully increasing support of the Foundation by parents, the community, and local corporations, our vision has become a tangible reality for every student. I am honored to have helped make a difference, and look forward to what future will bring," said Saran.
